Portable Oxide Scale Tester

Function and Operation:

Mark the numbers as shown in the diagram, and the functions of each part are as follows:

1. Magnetic flux reading, reading range ± 3.000mWb;

2. Current battery percentage, with a standby time of approximately 6 hours when the battery is fully charged;

3. Activate the drift adjustment button, one click start, automatic adjustment, and the screen will display ADJ when adjusting. After the adjustment is completed, the reading may not be 0. Press the ZERO key to reset the reading to 0;

4. Integrator discharge button, after pressing the button, the reading returns to 0; 5. Power switch, one click power on/off;

5. Highlight the display screen, visible under sunlight;

6. RS232 interface, no function;

7. Charging interface, connected to 8.4V DC power input for charging;

8. 3P oxide skin probe interface, does not support probe clearing 0.

Note for Using & Operation:

Before formally using the DX-210B Portable type Oxide Scale Tester, the end user must complete the operation of the step of Drift adjustment (Adj) & ZERO steps for the instrument.

Drift adjustment (Adj): Press the Adj key; the software will enter automatic drift adjustment mode, and Adj... will be displayed in the lower left corner of the screen, indicating that drift adjustment is in progress.

When adjusting drift (Adj), it is necessary to maintain a stationary state with no magnetic flux signal input and avoid other interference signals. At the same time, the Zero key should not be pressed. The drift adjustment time ranges from a few seconds to 30 seconds. After Adj is completed, if the displayed value is not 0, you can press Zero to reset it.
